Clown Lab is led by Jamie Hultgren, a working performer and educator with years of professional experience creating, performing, and teaching clown in the U.S. and internationally.

Rooted in physical, play-driven clown, drawing from traditions of Lecoq and Philippe Gaulier, students are encouraged to celebrate their mistakes and build an honest connection with the audience.

This initiative offers introductory and advanced training through in-person workshops and intensives, including programs led by guest teachers and visiting artists, to support original comedic work and strengthen the Nashville clown community.
